Pentwater Area – Mini Prints

Little Sable Point Light - Pentwater #14C

The Little Sable Point Light, one of the oldest beacons on the Great Lakes, casts its warm glow upon the pristine white sands near Silver Lake on Lake Michigan. Located south of Pentwater in the lower peninsula of Michigan, the Little Sable Point Light was born out of tragedy.  After the loss of the Schooner Pride in 1866, impassioned pleas for a beacon at this location were finally answered.   Although Congress approved funding in 1871, construction was delayed until 1874 due to the lack of roads leading to the site.

Mini-Prints are archive-quality giclée prints, matted to 5″ x 7″, with a certificate of authenticity on the back of the card hand-initialed by the artist in silver ink.   $35 each. Gift wrapping with a tiny art gift card is available.
