The Little Point Sable Church, situated at the far west end of Buchanan Road in Benona Township, has been a cornerstone of the Little Point Sable Association’s spiritual life.

On most Sundays in the summer, its regular worship service at 11 a.m. will gather members and visitors alike, fostering the spirit of camaraderie and reverence that fills the historic church.

The church’s rich history dates back to the early 20th century when worshippers first gathered in a tent on the grounds of John Hill’s lodge. Over time, the need for a permanent place of worship became evident, leading to the construction of the Stone Church in 1928. Designed by dedicated craftsmen and built with meticulous care, the church has retained much of its original charm, with its timeless architecture and wooden fixtures serving as a poignant reminder of days gone by.

Beyond its religious significance, the Little Stone Church has become a cherished venue for weddings and community events, embodying a sense of continuity and tradition for generations of families. With its enduring legacy and unwavering commitment to spiritual growth, the church continues to welcome all who seek solace and inspiration amidst the tranquil beauty of nature.
